Seven freedoms
You can introduce yourself, show an app or a project, open an idea, ask about code or marketing, share a post or a listing, learn at any level and talk like a person. We do not rank knowledge by seniority.
A freedom is not a right to harm someone else’s account, work or safety.
Outside the line
Insults, harassment, threats, hate, publishing someone’s private information without consent, and dogged unwanted contact are not allowed.
Scams, fake job listings, malware, phishing and anything aimed at taking over an account are removed.
Pasting a whole work you do not hold the rights to, and sharing cracked or pirated licences, is not allowed. A short quotation and an example you wrote yourself are fine.
Advertising floods, posting the same text over and over, and off-topic sales spam do not stay in the feed. Telling the community about your own product once, with context, is fine.
Jobs and mentoring
Being open to job opportunities is not a promise. An offer can come from inside the community or from outside it. Whoever posts a listing is responsible for the role and the company being real.
Mentoring is voluntary. Asking to be paid for it, pressuring someone in private, and republishing an application text without consent are not allowed.
Reports
The report control on a post, comment or profile goes to the moderation queue. The reason is not public. A pattern of empty or repeated reports can itself be a breach.
