Cookies and device storage
DevCircleUp does not follow you across the web. There is no advertising cookie, analytics pixel or third-party ad identifier. The items below stay on this device. A copy of the visitor id is kept on the server only for the footer counter.

Session
A Firebase Authentication record so the account stays signed in after you continue with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn.
Until you sign out or clear site data
dcu-theme
Remembers light, dark or system appearance. If you never choose, the system theme is used and nothing is stored.
Until you delete it
dcu-lang
Remembers Turkish (/tr) or English. The first visit follows the browser language; after you choose, the site stays in that language.
Until you delete it
dcu-vid
An anonymous id for the footer counter, written when you open the site. The same browser is counted once. Its last seen time keeps the “online now” number. No IP is stored.
Until you clear this site’s data. An old anonymous server record stays, and it is not tied to a person.
The counter
The session, theme and language stay so the site itself can work. The visitor counter is not tied to an ad network. Every browser that opens the site is counted once, and everyone sees two public numbers: total visitors and online now.
If an analytics or marketing tool is added later, this page changes first.
How to delete them
Clearing this site’s data in your browser (cookies and local storage) signs you out, forgets the theme and language, and deletes the counter id. The next visit creates a new id and counts it once.
Cookies set by Google, GitHub or LinkedIn belong to those sites. DevCircleUp does not read them.
